The first heirloom tomato (Mortgage Lifter) was picked on Saturday. Pinkish with rounded shoulders and firm meaty flesh, it's the first beefsteak I've grown.

You've been busy posting while I was gone! I'm glad you got both garlic and tomatoes to grow from what I sent you.
What happened to the other tomatoes? I've had quite a good harvest this year.
I also found a good yellow cherry tomato, blondkopfchen. I have some seeds if you're interested for next year.
